Laureen Uy also shares what kind of a tita she is to her sister Liz’s son Xavi.
Nowadays, social media has become even more toxic—especially if you are someone with a strong digital presence like a vlogger and/or a blogger. As for Laureen Uy, she has already mastered the art of handling trolls on social media.
“Well, dati hindi pa talaga ako sanay. But I think it was my sister who told me na, ‘You have more lovers than haters. ‘Yung mga haters na ‘yan balewala sila.’ Ayun I just delete. Delete na lang and block. Bihira lang ‘yung block. ‘Pag talagang sobra na,” she said in an interview with the entertainment press during the launch of OPPO’s newest smartphone F11 Pro.
Having tried her luck in showbiz once, Uy said she isn’t closing her doors on opportunities in the future.
“Well, hindi natin alam for sure. But I really do love what I’m doing right now. I’m not closing my doors,” she stated.
Apart from being a lifestyle and fashion guru, Laureen Uy is now a tita thanks to her sister Liz. Though she is busy traveling here and abroad, she revealed that she gets to make sure she makes up for lost time with her sister’s son Xavi whom she described as the “cutest.”
“Of course, I love Xavi. He’s so cute. The cutest. I’m away most of the time traveling. But when I’m here I make sure I visit,” she said.
Admitting that her and her family’s life changed since her nephew came into their lives, she said: “We all got closer. Kasi iba ‘yung love ‘pag may child na sa family.”
