Ogie Diaz was one proud father at the Moving Up Day of his eldest daughter Erin.

On Wednesday, the showbiz personality took to Facebook to express how pleased he is of his firstborn, regardless if she didn’t finish the school year with flying colors.

As someone who didn’t pursue college but nonetheless turned out well, Ogie said that he would allow for Erin to do the same – only with the exception that she would finish Senior High School and take at least five crash courses to help her figure out which path she would like to seek for her career. “Dahil baka isa dun, matumbok mong gusto mo pala at yun ang itutuloy-tuloy mong ima-master. Dahil gusto ko, gawin mo kung saan ka masaya and at the same time, nata-translate mo yung happiness mo into income,” he said.

Quoting his conversation with Erin, Ogie wrote, “’So, ano, nak? You will just finish senior high o magka-college ka after?’ ‘Magka-college ako, daddy.’ ‘Okay. If that will make you happy, I will support you all the way.’”

Aside from Erin, Ogie and Georgette have four other children – the youngest of the brood being two-year-old Meerah Khel, who was born premature in February of 2017.
