Bea Alonzo says she can't stand listening to the Latin prayer that the character of Charo Santos is saying in one of the scenes in Eerie.
Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo admitted that she cannot watch her own film Eerie alone at midnight. She even recalled one time when she has to post an Instagram story of a teaser video to promote the movie.
"Mayroon akong kinailangang i-post for promo na IG Story, e gabi na pinapa-post sa’kin. Hindi ko talaga siya tinatapos kasi na-stress ako," Bea told the press on March 23 at the movie’s bloggers’ conference.
Bea was pertaining to one teaser video of Eerie where the character of Charo Santos, who plays the role of Mother Alice, was reciting a Latin prayer. "Doon ako pinaka [natatakot], kapag nagsasalita na kayo (Charo Santos) ng Latin, parang chant kasi," Bea confessed to her co-actress.
Charo said she really prepared for that particular scene in the movie. "It's Latin. Inaral ko. Siyempre minemorize ko. Nagpaturo ako ng tamang pagbigkas," she added.
Eerie is about to be shown in cinemas on March 27. Aside from the Philippines, it will also be shown across eleven different countries in Southeast Asia. The movie is directed by the award-winning director Mikhail Red, who is also the maker of Birdshot and Neomanila.
