“I can’t wait,” exclaimed the Miss Universe 2015 only a week ahead of the arrival of her wax figure in the Philippines.
Beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach is still in disbelief months after being chosen as the first Filipino to have her image immortalized in Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong.
On Wednesday, the Miss Universe 2015 revealed that a launch date has been set for the unveiling of her wax figure here in Manila.
“Save the date! March 29,” wrote Pia on her Instagram Stories. “I can’t wait for this! I can’t believe I’m gonna be immortalized in Madame Tussauds!”
It was last September when Madame Tussauds announced their special collaboration with Pia as their chosen Filipino representative for the wax museum in Hong Kong.
“More than being a queen, she has all the makings of an icon, and we are proud to be able to house her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong for the rest of the world to be able to interact with,” said Jenny You, general manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, in a previous interview with ABS-CBN News.
Pia will be making her big reveal at SM Mega Fashion Hall inside the SM Megamall this March 29.
