David Foster once again recognizes Filipino talent when he presses the Golden Buzzer for Eleana Gabunada.
Eleana Gabunada received the golden buzzer from award-winning composer and Asia's Got Talent judge David Foster last Thursday, February 28.
The 10-year-old, who sang "Don't Rain on My Parade," said she dreams of one day being able to perform on Broadway.
"There's a lot of people much older than you that could sing that song but they don't understand the genre, they don't know what they're supposed to be doing. But somehow at the age 10, you understand your mission and your job. And there's no doubt in my mind that if you want to be in Broadway one day, you will be," he told the young Pinay.
In 2015, David also pressed the Golden Buzzer for singer Gerphil Flores on the show. She finished in third place.
Eleana, who was a former contestant on The Voice Kids, is the second Filipino on Asia's Got Talent's Season 3 to receive the golden buzzer. Philip Galit, a hand shadow artist, is also through to the semi-finals.
