Simultaneous with the exit of his character in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Joross, in a Facebook live stream from talent manager and producer Noel Ferrer’s account, has bid his iconic look in the show goodbye.
Actor Joross Gamboa has taken a bow as ‘Tanggol’, one of the fierce nemeses of the titular character Cardo Dalisay, in the action-packed television series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
On Thursday, the 34-year-old star took to Instagram to officially “sign off” from the show, with special thanks to its lead and acting director, Coco Martin.
“Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. [Coco], salamat, kapatid. #tanggolsigningoff”, he wrote.
Simultaneous with the exit of his character, Joross, through a Facebook live stream from talent manager and producer Noel Ferrer’s account, has also bid his iconic beard goodbye.
“TO ALL THE PEOPLE HE HAS WRONGED… this is for you. Hahaha,” Noel said. “To the Probinsyano Team, heto na siya!”
As Tanggol, Joross had to grow his beard to achieve a rugged look.
“Pumasok ako sa ‘Probinsyano’ na ganito ang look so kailangan ko panindigan dahil NPA ako doon,” he said in a previous interview on Umagang Kay Ganda, confessing that his then-new look has yet to grow on his family. “Hindi ko ma-kiss ang baby ko at 'yung misis ko, ayaw ako i-kiss. Nakakatusok kasi.”
