Pokwang is always first a mother before she is anything.
The 48-year-old comedienne and actress on Wednesday made this clear when she took to social media to speak of her outpouring love for her life’s most prized possessions – her daughters Ria Mae and Malia Francine.
Though the ‘Oda Sa Wala’ star refused to elucidate, one thing stood out: everything else in life is nothing if not with her children.
“Sige tanggapin mo nalang ganon talaga eh, kasi nga mahal ko sila sobra,” she said. “Mawala na lahat ‘wag lang sila.”
At once, the post has earned nods from thousands of Pokwang’s followers, who commended her for being a doting mother and a great provider to her daughters.
God bless you always Pokwang and your family,” one fan said, while another wrote, “Napaka swerteng mga bata. Napakagaganda!
Mae, now 22, is from Pokwang’s previous relationship with a Japanese national whose identity she has since refused to disclose.
Meanwhile, one-year-old Malia is her daughter with partner, American actor Lee O’Brian, whom she met during the making of their film ‘Edsa Woolworth’ back in 2014.
