Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is scheduled to fly to Hong Kong next week for the first meet and greet for her Madame Tussaud wax figure.
Kabayan, I’ll be in Hong Kong this Feb 17 so kita-kits tayo sa Star Hall, KITEC. I’m excited to visit Madame Tussaud’s and get a glimpse of where my wax figure will be! • Gate Opens at 13:00 • There will be performances by the Hong Kong Musicians Union, Prime Credit Artists, games, prizes and more. During a set visit to World of Dance Philippines, host Pia told the press that the wax figure is set to be placed at the entrance of the museum.
"They did tell me na sa harap, sa may entrance siya ng museum. But the meet and greet that I will be doing in Hong Kong won't be the reveal yet. Parang promo muna iyon. So magmi-meet and greet muna kami with the Filipino community." she said.
Pia also assured her Filipino fans of a separate meet and greet in Manila after doing a promo in Hong Kong.
"While we’re doing the promo, unti-unti na din kaming magbibigay ng sneak peek nung gown, and anong crown," said Pia who also expressed excitement about the final look of the wax figure.
"Nakita ko na siya nang medyo may hair at mukha, pero wala pang color nung last kong kita, so yung mold pa lang niya. It feels surreal to see yourself na nandiyan siya and parang, eto na yung itsura ko," she added.
I have a big announcement! Starting early next year, I’ll be residing in Hong Kong! Well, my wax figure will! 😉 So excited to be the first Filipino who’ll be part of Madame Tussauds! What a birthday treat! Please visit me there. Will be waiting for you! 💙 @madametussaudshongkong
Meanwhile, Pia also revealed that she is about to do three movies under Star Cinema this year.
"So far, they pitched three movies already. The only problem is yung schedule ng mga magiging co-actors ko. But I'm so excited with all of it. They've been so generous with giving me challenging and fun roles. I can’t wait to do it," she said.
Pia Wurtzbach co-hosts with Luis Manzano the Philippine franchise of World of Dance, which is aired weekends on ABS-CBN.
