Singer-actor Iñigo Pascual confirmed that an avid fan of his, Arnie Espina, has passed away from Leukemia through an Instagram post he shared early Wednesday.
Singer-actor Iñigo Pascual is grieving the death of his avid fan after succumbing to Leukemia, he confirmed on Instagram early Wednesday. She was 15.
The 21-year-old star has known the late Arnie Espina since they were introduced in a webisode of One Music’s Wander Jam back in September last year. Tagging along his fellow singer Migz Haleco, Iñigo paid a surprise visit to his sick fan in the hospital, during which they sang together Arnie’s personal favorite, ‘Dahil Sa ‘Yo’.
“If I could only feel your hug one more time... if only I could only hear you laugh again... I can’t believe this is happening,” he said. “Maraming salamat, Arnie. I will carry you in my heart forever, with every performance and every song I write. Kahit na konting panahon lang kitang nakilala, sobrang laki ng epekto mo sa ‘kin at hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ‘yun.”
“Mahal na mahal kita, Arnie,” he added.
This comes a mere few weeks after Iñigo arranged a benefit concert for Arnie that was attended by his very own dad, seasoned actor Piolo Pascual, among other performers.

Iñigo has previously told the press that meeting Arnie has given him a sense of purpose as a singer.
“When we sang together yung 'Dahil Sa’Yo,' the song kind of had a different meaning,” he said. “‘Di ko inisip na ganun ‘yung meaning niya dati, parang, woah, this is why I like to do music.”
Meanwhile, Arnie was just as thankful for Iñigo for having touched her life.
“‘Yun po ‘yung time na feeling ko wala akong sakit,” she said in a previous interview with Push. “‘Yung ang saya saya lang, ‘yung time na ‘yun parang wala, sa sobrang saya po, ‘yung time na ‘yun nanghihina ako tapos dumating siya.”
