Toni Gonzaga on her dad being a disciplinarian: 'I realized that the pain of discipline is better than the pain of regret.'
In celebration of her father's birthday, Toni Gonzaga interviewed her dad Bonoy in her new vlog uploaded on Tuesday, February 5. In the video, Toni asked him various questions which she wasn't able to do so when she was younger.
One of the questions the actress asked her dad was about his treatment towards her then boyfriend Paul Soriano. Toni asked her dad.
In response to the question, Bonoy said, "Kailangan makita niya na merong nag pro-protekta sa inyo.
Toni also asked her dad why he did not allow her to date the guys who tried to court her before.
Toni also expressed her joy in the vlog that she is now able to have this type of conversation with her father. She also said that she appreciates the fact that her dad helped her avoid the pain of regret.

"I'm so happy that we've reached this level of relationship na para ng barkada. I can talk to him about anything. Pero I realized that the pain of discipline is better than the pain of regret. The man who I thought broke my heart before, was actually the one who saved my heart from being broken for so many times. Kaya thank you, daddy. Happy birthday. You are and forever will be my first hero," Toni stated.
