Following months-long rumors of her comeback, D-Nation Entertainment on Tuesday confirmed that Korean popstar Park Bom will return with a new solo album next month.
Bom took a hiatus following the disbandment of her band, the all-girl group 2NE1, in 2016. Afterwards, she left her former agency YG Entertainment to sign a new contract with D-Nation in 2018, along with hints of her return in the biz, this time, as a solo artist.
Simultaneous with the launch of her album is the release of her new track featuring fellow 2NE1 member, Filipino-Korean Sandara “Dara” Park, with which she has stayed in touch even after the band’s split. The song, according to Korean entertainment website Koreaboo, is written by award-winning composer Brave Brothers, known for his body of work involving hit Korean acts such as Big Bang, Sistar, and AOA.
