Veteran actor Robin Padilla couldn’t be any prouder of his daughter Queenie Padilla for recently being named by National Commission on Muslim Filipinos as their new Youth Ambassador of Goodwill.

The actor on Saturday took to Instagram to delight in Queenie’s ability to inspire other people, especially young mothers like herself.

“Proud of you [Queenie]. Hindi nagkamali ang NCMF National Commission on Muslim Filipinos na kunin ka bilang kanilang Youth Peace Ambassador! You are an inspiration to them especially the young mothers,” he said.

Kung ano ano na ang inalok ko sa iyo but still you chose to be with mustazina a hands on mother to my grandchild. Ayaw mo ng yaya gusto mo talaga ikaw sapagkat yun ang islamic at sunnah para sa mga babae na nakapaloob sa pag aasawa [sic],” he added, referring to Queenie’s daughter Mustazina with her Pakistani husband Usama Rashid Mir. “May Allah bless you anak with more patience and success in your tradeswoman dream in shaa Allah.”

Queenie previously dedicated her appointment to victims of the siege in Marawi and the recent bombing in Julu.

“They deserve all the acknowledgement for having such immense fighting spirits, to survive and rise again from the rubbles and tragedies they have faced,” she said.

Having met with her “new friends” to talk about the ongoing siege, Queenie said that the stories she heard from the victims were both “heartbreaking” and “inspiring”.

“It’s heartbreaking, at the same time inspiring because you can feel their strength and resilience to keep moving forward. Subhana’Allah. Thank you for sharing your stories,” she said.
