Fil-Am actor Darren Criss, who tied the knot with his girlfriend of eight years in New Orleans last February 16, proved yet again how proud he is of his Filipino roots by wearing a custom-made barong Tagalog by Francis Libiran to his wedding reception.

Renowned Filipino designer to the stars Francis Libiran took to Instagram to share how proud he is to have his work featured on American fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue.

"We are on Vogue @vogue @voguemagazine! Take a look at multi-awarded Hollywood actor Darren Criss’ (@darrencriss) most talked about wedding where he wore a custom-made @FrancisLibiran Barong Tagalog celebrating his union with Mia Swier," he wrote.

Last month, Darren made headlines after giving a shout-out to his Filipino mom who hails from Cebu City and calling her a "firecracker" during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes where he won for his role in the TV series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

Darren Criss rose to fame after playing Blaine Anderson in the hit US TV musical Glee.
