Inquirer.net also published a statement of Kris wherein she told Nicko, “This is not a fight that should be done on social media.”
“Kung labanan lang ‘to ng followers, hindi hamak I have four million more than they do and that’s only on one social media account,” she said.
“Pero ang ginagawa ko ‘yung tamang paraan. Nandito kami sa korte ngayon at gusto kong bigyan ng tamang respeto ang Philippine judicial system that’s why sinagot ko lahat ng accusations against me,” she added.
Kris also apologized for berating Nicko over the phone, which was leaked online.
“Again I would like to say a sincere apology because in the heat of the moment I said things that I should not have said. I know that as a parent I should set a very good example para sa mga anak ko.”
After the court decision was made public, Kris’s lawyers immediately issued a statement and said that they are filing a motion for reconsideration.
