Ogie Alcasid dares bashers of Regine Velasquez: “Ako harapin niyo”
In the wake of the controversy involving The Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez and Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon, the singer-songwriter takes to Twitter to defend his wife from bashers.
Ogie Alcasid dared bashers of his wife Regine Velasquez to come for him instead following the recent controversy involving The Asia’s Songbird and fellow Kapamilya singer Morissette Amon.
“Sino na naman ang umaapi sa asawa ko? Ako ang harapin niyo,” said Ogie in a tweet last Tuesday, February 19.
Prior to this, Regine has taken to Twitter to unleash a tirade of tweets as reponse to a fan who wasn’t pleased when the seasoned singer bequethed her hit ‘Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka’ to Morissette — whose rendition of the song has since gone viral — on ASAP Natin ‘To last Sunday, February 17.
Meanwhile, Morissette, dubbed as the Asia’s Phoenix, thanked Regine for allowing to share the stage with her to do the "Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka" challenge live on the Sunday variety show.
“Forever humbled by you Ms @reginevalcasid, you had and will always have much of my love and respect.. maraming salamat po sa bawat pagkakataong matupad ang pangarap kong makasama’t maka-duet ka, at sa pagbahagi mo sa’kin ng parte ng puso mo,” wrote the 22-year-old singer on Instagram.
