The award-winning popstar topped the chart with her singles, ‘7 rings’, ‘break up with you girlfriend, i’m board’ and ‘thank u, next’, from her latest album of the same name.
Ariana Grande has reached another feat as the next act to have the top three spots in Billboard’s Hot 100 since English rock band The Beatles in 1964.
The award-winning popstar topped the chart with her singles, ‘7 rings’, ‘break up with you girlfriend, i’m bored’ and ‘thank u, next’, from her latest album of the same name.
In 1964, during the height of their musical career, The Beatles made history after monopolizing Billboard’s Hot 100 with their hits, ‘Can't Buy Me Love’, ‘Twist and Shout’, ‘She Loves You’, ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’, and ‘Please Please Me’, claiming the top five positions simultaneously. No other act has done so ever since.
Meanwhile, Ariana, who has just won The Best Pop Vocal Album for her fourth studio album ‘sweetener’ in this year’s GRAMMY Awards, credits her musical team for the record-breaking achievement.
“congrats team, i love u. thank u so much,” she wrote in a tweet last Tuesday, February 19 (US Time).
