Makisig Morales also talks about what he loves about life in Australia.
After moving to Sydney this year after migrating and living in Perth for the past four years with his family, Australia-based actor Makisig Morales admitted he hopes to find better opportunities in his new home. Also, my fiancée is here. So it’s better pag nakakapag-work kami together. May inspiration,” he told PUSH.
With a concert slated in Sydney on May 4 with fellow Pinoy and special guest singer Marlisa, Makisig shared the concept behind the whole event. Musicians and singers may come and go pero ang music ay mananatili and will be pass through generations. Also collaborating with Marlisa is a big step and hometown niya ang Sydney. It’s my great pleasure to share the stage with her,” he said.
Mak said that he had never met Marlisa before the event was conceptualized. “We just recently met online. Pero when she was still competing, sinusubaybayan po namin siya ng family ko. I love her music. I’m super blessed to get a chance to sing with her,” he added.
After starting out in showbiz as one of the standout talents from Little Big Star, Mak said his singing style has changed a lot over the years. “Mas mature na po at mas may hugot (laughs). Kasi mas nakaka-relate na ako sa mga song sa ang mga meaning ay love or tungkol sa buhay,” he shared.
As an Australia-based artist, Mak said he is still very much Pinoy at heart. More on meat at gulay na.
