Actress Jolina Magdangal channeled Japanese expert Marie Kondo as she recently dug through her shoe closet to do some much-needed decluttering.

The Magandang Buhay host tried her hand at the ‘KonMari’ method, a decluttering philosophy that encourages merely housing items that “spark joy,” as popularized by Marie through her book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and hit Netflix show Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.

“Time to let go... so pinapakiramdaman ko bawat sapatos kung may ‘Spark of Joy’ pa sila. E kaso parang lahat meron pa!!!! So kailangan tigasan ang loob at let go na ang iba. #Size5,” said Jolina on her post, which showed her in deep thought while surrounded by boxes after boxes of shoes.

Replying to a comment, the 40-year-old star related to the difficult process of letting go of stuff that no longer make her happy.

Nakaya ko naman. Hahahaha..,” she said. “...pero may kurot sa puso. Haha!”
