Chokoleit says he only spends 20 percent of his earnings and saves the rest of it for future use.
Despite not having regular shows on television, Jonathan Aguilar Garcia, or better known as Chokoleit, still feels grateful because he has an audience who continue to laugh at his jokes.
According to the veteran comedian, he consistently tries to work to keep himself up-to-date with what is relevant today.
"Thank you. Salamat doon. Kasi hindi rin ako natitigil dun especially 'yung mga comedy materials ko. I do a lot of research tapos be abreast of what's happening kaya palaging fresh," he said in an exclusive interview with PUSH at the Pure Magic 2019 event.
Admitting that he doesn't earn much, Chokoleit said he is very careful with his finances.
"I'm very, very careful with my finances. Siyempre hindi din naman ganun kalaki ang kita ko. Pero kumbaga in every cent na kinikita ko, binibigyan ko ng halaga. Savings. Never ako nagsugal. Pala-save talaga ako. Kunyari 'yung 100 pesos na kinikita ko, ang savings ko 80 pesos. Bente lang ginagastos ko," he said.
Chokoleit also admitted that he has yet to decide whether or not he should put up a business or build another house.
"Hindi pa ako sigurado until gusto ko talaga. Or mag-invest ng bahay ulit, ganun," he said.
Sharing what fans can expect from him in the coming months, he said, "I'll be doing a movie for Regal. Magto-tour din ako with Sharon Cuneta. Makakasama niya ako front act. 'Yun lang muna."
