Popular YouTuber and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Wil Dasovich shared some scenes of the aftermath of Typhoon Ursula in Mindoro on his social media and shared a clip of what happened to his mother's farm after the calamity.

Wil remarked that despite that the recent typhoon, he is in awe of the resilience and fighting spirit of the his kababayans.

"Decades old trees destroyed, crops, buildings, lives, no electricity, etc. etc. but everywhere we walked around the people are smiling and carrying along like nothing happened. It’s already cliche at this point to say how admiring the Filipino resilience is, but it is simply the truth," Wil posted.

Right before leaving the house, I noticed my mom packing boxes and boxes of donations for people around town. This is nothing new and something she has been doing since I can remember being alive. Spending the weekends searching through garage sales, Cosco, and other budget friendly stores to then fill up our entire garage with LBC boxes. From California, she sends everything to Manila and then drives in a pickup truck herself, sometimes alone, from Manila across Batangas all the way to San Jose, Mindoro. Growing up she always made us (me, Haley, dad) help her out, something we didn’t completely understand at first when were kids (cuz as we thought at the time it’s more work and chores!🙇🏻 ) but going back to the province, her home town, and witnessing the complete distribution process of this entire cycle is ❤️. Breaks my heart that right before we left for a nice ride through the province to check her farm, the last thing she was doing was packing those boxes and working really hard all day doing stuff for the community . Decades old trees destroyed, crops, buildings, lives, no electricity, etc. etc. but everywhere we walked around the people are smiling and carrying along like nothing happened. It’s already cliche at this point to say how admiring the Filipino “resilience” is, but it is simply the truth. It’s the main reason I, along with most others not from this country have decided to live here due to the uplifting attitude and positive mindset of the people to keep going. Mom’s attitude is to start replanting and fix everything up again! Back to work, life goes on! . This is simply an appreciation post for my hard working and caring mom @charrydasovich who spends so much time for others around her, and also people she has never met! Sorry about the farm 😖 but atleast we all have each other diba? 😊 And of course also for the kababayans of Mindoro (and other islands hit hard) who hold such a great attitude and persevere through all the hardships! #PositiboParati 🙏🏼❤️🇵🇭 . The awesome music used (new album & royalty free) is by my friend @milkflud. Check him out on Spotify! Also got to finally play with the new GoPro 8. 1 word -APRUB! @goproph
