Top-rating Kapamilya drama Pamilya Ko left viewers in shock during the December 11 episode as Luz Mabunga (Sylvia Sanchez) was shot multiple times by Loida Magtulis (Irma Adlawan) minutes after her husband Fernan (Joey Marquez) left their house.
Avid fans need not worry though because Pamilya Ko isn’t signing off anytime soon. Plus, it seems Luz will survive as Sylvia Sanchez confirmed that the show is getting a second book.
Last December 10, Sylvia Sanchez, in a contract signing event with ALV Talents Circuit, confirmed that the book two of the show will begin January next year.
“Hindi ko pa alam. Pero magbo-book two na kami. So bu-book two na kami by January,” she said.
She also expressed her gratitude for the positive feedback from avid viewers of the show.
“And thank God kasi mataas ‘yung Pamilya Ko. At pinapanood talaga ng mga viewers. Gusto nila ‘yung kabubuuan ng show at lahat ng cast,” she stated.
Meanwhile, she also talked about some of the scenes involving her and Joey Marquez whom she slapped multiple times after finding out that the latter, who plays as her husband on the show, has been cheating on her.
According to Sanchez, all is well between her and her co-actor despite hitting Marquez hard on the show.
With Sanchez now part of Arnold Vegafria’s talent management agency, fans can expect two films from her next year including a Metro Manila Film Festival entry and more product endorsements.
