Currently touring Europe on vacation, Angelica Panganiban got into a bit of hot water after posting on her Instagram Stories a photo of herself at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, Germany with the caption, “Kabibili ko nga lang pala ng bansang ito [ayon] sa OOTD ko. Tabi! Dadaan ang madam!”

The caption did not sit well with netizens who called out Angelica for not giving respect to the monument which is a memorial dedicated to all the Jewish victims of the Holocaust.

Angelica took down the photo and issued an apology through her Twitter account last November 7.

“While there is no malice and intention to malign and disrespect the memories of the Holocaust, I would like to apologize for offending the sensibilities of others over a picture I posted on my ig story,” and “As I travel, I will be more informed about the history and use this as learning experience to be more conscious on things I post. Again, my sincerest apologies,” she wrote.
