Moira Dela Torre becomes a barista on her 27th birthday to help raise funds for the victims of the Mindanao quake.
Award-winning Kapamilya singer Moira Dela Torre became a barista for a day at a branch of a popular milk tea and coffee shop in Makati City.
On Facebook, the "Malaya" singer, who celebrated her 27th birthday on November 4, shared that she did it to raise funds for the victims of the series of quakes in Mindanao.

"For my birthday today, I am Barista Moi in @macaoimperialteaph Makati Ayala Columns branch again and leaving this box here for those who want to help the people affected by the earthquake in Mindanao," she wrote.
She went on: "So many lost their homes and loved ones. They also don't have access to water among so many other things. And so for my birthday, I want to ask for your help to send whatever amount you can to them.”
Dela Torre continued, saying those who support her cause will be the best birthday gift for her.
"Come drop by and let me make you milk tea and help me send whatever help we can to the people of Mindanao. I'll be here until 6PM. This will be the best gift. Sending my love and prayers to everyone affected. Thinking of you guys today," she stated.
Moira Dela Torre's husband, Jason Marvin Hernandez, co-owns the said milk tea and coffee shop.
Apart from Dela Torre, Angel Locsin also earned praises after lending a helping hand to the victims of the Mindanao quakes over the long weekend.

Locsin personally visited the affected areas of the quakes in Mindanao including Davao City and Cotabato City.
