From Concert Queen to Nature Queen: Pops Fernandez, earth warrior na ngayon

Isa ang concert queen na si Pops Fernandez sa mga personalidad na nagbigay suporta sa launch ng Gabay Kalikasan program ng MVP (Manny V Pangilinan) group of companies.

 

 

Special guest rin ang ilang showbiz personalities tulad nina Dominique Roque, Khalil Ramos, Joey Ayala, Rice Lucid, Telay Robles, at Unique Salonga.

Ayon kay Pops, napapanahon ang sustainability campaign na ito kasabay ng mga hindi magandang pagbabago sa ating kalikasan.

“Marami tayong naririnig at nababasa regarding our environment at totoo po lahat 'yun and again lalong lalo na sa ating mga anak, simulan na natin,” ani Pops sa panayam.

At sa kanyang simpleng paraan, nais maging bahagi at simulan ng singer ang kanyang ambag para sa pangangalaga sa kalikasan.

“This is a great thing kasi it will really help to have an awareness which we all need, sometimes kasi we do forget it na. So doing this is a good start and a lot of organizations have also done this,” sabi pa ng singer.

“And we are all guilty with the mistakes, that's why doing this is a good start and its a constant reminder of what we should do for our environment.”

Ang chairwoman naman ng sustainability advocacy program ng PLDT Smart Foundation na si Chaye Cabal-Revilla, tuloy-tuloy ang pag engganyo sa ibang personalities na makiisa sa pag-gabay para sa kalikasan.

“We hope to have more Filipino's and personalities to be part of our program. It is something that we really need to do for the people, Gabay Kalikasan' is something we need to do for our future generation and have an impact for our future.".
