After another controversial year on and off camera, former FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Baron Geisler said he was also lucky to be part of another major movie project earlier this year. “I did a movie this year with direk Brillante Mendoza called Bangsa. I’m acting alongside the greats, sila Joel Torre, Piolo Pascual, direk Laurice Guillen, Christopher de Leon and many, many more. Sobrang dami. Sobrang blessing itong movie na ito. Basta Mindanao ang setting. Ang saya. I had to speak in Maguindanaoan and learn it a bit,” he told PUSH.
Baron said he is already looking forward to being part of another international movie project in 2020. “After ng Bangsa meron din, fingers crossed, I’m praying na matuloy, pero I’m in touch with this producer sa States doing a film. We’re going to shoot I heard sa Mexico, Thailand, Philippines, New York, and Washington D.C. It’s a good project. We’ll start shooting next year. Tuloy daw sabi ng producer nung pumunta siya dito sa Pilipinas a few weeks ago. Nag-message siya ulit last week na she can’t wait to work with me and ganun din ako with them,” he revealed.
The 37-year-old actor said that he has since learned from his past mistakes and is slowly trying to better himself with the help of his faith. “The key here lang is patience para sa akin, para hindi ako ma-overwhelm or mag-backslide sa dati kong gawain, yung mga character defects ika nga. I’m trying to remove all of them one by one, I’m still God’s work in progress. I’m still dealing with some demons na ayokong tawaging demons. Pero natatanggal na yung mga masamang attitude, kino-correct na with the help of God. Nagiging maayos na akong citizen dito sa Pilipinas. Kaya siguro napapansin ng iba,” he shared.
