“I said YES! to give my full commitment to love myself before I give my heart to a person,” wrote “The General’s Daughter” star Ryza Cenon.
"I said YES!"
This was the statement of Ryza Cenon as she shared on Instagram Saturday the exciting news about her "engagement".
Not to someone else, however, but to herself.
Sharing photos of her wearing a custom ring as a symble of her love for herself, "The General's Daughter" said: "I said YES! to give my full commitment to love myself before I give my heart to a person. And when the right one comes, I’ll transfer this ring to my other hand and accept the right one to the perfect hand. I’m engaged with myself."
In her caption, Ryza coined the term "self-partnered", which was made popular by Hollywood star Emma Watson in her interview for British Vogue.
"If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you're not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you’re still figuring things out... There’s just this incredible amount of anxiety," said the "Harry Potter" star.
"It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered," she added.
Ryza's last public relationship was with actor Pocholo Barretto. They broke up in February.
