Sunshine Cruz celebrated a new milestone with her children as she marked her first-ever endorsement with her three daughters Angeline, Sam, and Chesca - which means they all get to earn money from it.

But according to the youngest of the three, Chesca, their mom didn’t give them access to their bank accounts to help them save for the future.

“Us, we don’t have access to our bank accounts yet because our mom thinks that it’s good for our future. And we also think that we need to save. Sometimes, we get baon for school. 200 everyday for school,” Chesca Cruz said in an interview during a press launch for Em-Core Dot-Net.

She added: “I like to save. I save like 100 or 50 pesos everyday but sometimes, we like making drive-throughs so we spend din. We all save for if we have hangouts with friends. We use our own money. We don’t need to ask our mom,” she added.

Caught by surprise with the revelations of her youngest daughter Chesca, Sunshine Cruz said in jest: “Nabuking. Pinagpawisan ang kili-kili ko dun.

Cruz, whose three daughters with Cesar Montano is currently under her care, is one proud mom to all of them for being able to save money at such an early age.

“Yes ito mababait nag-iipon. ‘Pag meron silang mga hangouts nag-iipon sila. Or ‘pag malapit na ang Valentine’s, binibigyan nila ako ng gift. Birthday or Christmas, pinag-iipunan nila ‘yun. ‘Yun talaga ang nakakatuwa sa kanila,” she revealed.

The Cruz matriarch also went on to share that she has taught them the value of money - specifically how to prioritize their needs over their wants.

“And I’ve always told them na ang mahalaga ang priority namin ‘yung mga needs ngayon. ‘Pag meron pang extra, may mga raket si Mommy, merong pumasok na mga bagong endorsements, then that’s the time na siyempre binibigay ko din ang mga wants nila,” he said.

Having traveled to Japan recently with her kids last October for a vacation, Cruz said she always makes sure that she gets to save enough money to bring her family abroad.

“Plus of course, I see to it na every year, nagta-travel kami out-of-the-country. ‘Yun ‘yung isa sa mga pinag-iipunan ko. ‘Yung makasama ko sila mag-travel, out-of-the-country kasi gusto ko talaga na ma-experience nila ‘yung makapag-bond kami.

The 42-year-old actress’s eldest daughter Angelina is currently a recording artist under Universal Records while her second child, Sam, is set to join the same record label next year.

Meanwhile, her youngest daughter, Chesca is currently focusing on her studies.

Sunshine Cruz is set to join the cast of the Xian Lim and Kim Chiu teleserye Love Thy Woman.
