Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla threw a simple birthday celebration for her daughter, Isabella, who turned three on Thursday, November 14.
In her latest vlog entry uploaded last Monday, the "It's Showtime" host shared how she planned Isabella's Trolls-inspired birthday party in the United States with the help of her family.
In the early minutes of the video, Mariel looked back on her daughter's past birthday celebrations and explained why she opted for a simpler, more intimate party this time around.
"This year, it's going to be a little bit different because we are here in the (United) States and wala naman siyang friends na maliliit dito. It's going to be really small. It's going to be really intimate. Dito I'm just going to buy her a simple cake... and then it's just going to be us... I bought her a simple gift kasi usually marami siyang gifts na natatanggap 'pag birthday niya. So, it's really different," she said.
"But I guess the most different part is this is her first birthday that she won't be with her dad," she added, referring to her husband, Robin Padilla. "And they have such a close relationship and I know that she misses him so much. And I know that Robin feels the same kasi everytime nagfe-FaceTime kami talagang ramdam na ramdam ko 'yung pagka-miss at pagkatuwa niya 'pag nagu-usap sila ni Isabella," she added.
Mariel and Isabella are in the United States where the former opted to give birth to her second child with Robin.
The celebrity couple welcomed their newborn daughter, Maria Gabriella, on Saturday, November 16.
