Ruffa Gutierrez says she would rather focus on being positive than fighting with other people.
After making a grand entrance dressed up as the queen of France Marie Antoinette during Raymond Gutierrez’s recent Opulence Halloween party, Ruffa Gutierrez said she is proud of her younger brother’s latest event.
“I decided to wear a wig last minute because I thought I was going to look kalbo without a wig. So as you can see everyone is going all out. I just want to congratulate my brother Mond and everyone behind this project. Talagang napakagaling. And we just want to have a good time,” she shared.

The event also coincided with her mother Annabelle Rama’s birthday. Which was also a cause for celebration for their family who was present at the costume event. “I’m so happy. I think she’s the oldest one here (laughs). I’m very happy for her because I think she’s turning 68 today but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun anymore. So thank you mom for always sticking up for us, and for being behind us through thick and thin,” she told the press.
After recently being asked to comment on her friendship with the Barretto sisters, Ruffa revealed she is on good terms with everyone in the family.
“I’m so happy and for me, talagang wala akong inaaway so kailangan smile lang kasi mga wrinkles (baka magkaroon) di ba?” she said.
Ruffa added she hopes for the best outcome for the controversial sisters. “Actually ang message ko para sa kanilang tatlo. Sana magbati-bati na sila kasi ever since naman talaga close sila sa family. So, like everyone else, we’re hoping na magka-bati bati sila one day.”
