After making the cut as one of the entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Culion producers Shandii Bacolod and Gillie Sing recently unveiled the latest update to their film in the form of the music video launch of the Culion theme song “Kundimang Mahal” which was performed by Joanna Ampil. The multi-awarded movie and stage actress shared her thoughts on how she became part of the project during the Culion thanksgiving party last November 11.A
“Actually Shandii gave me the background of the story and also yung character na kumakanta nung song so binase ko doon at saka he gave me a lot of stories about the movie kasi may mga story yung each character. So pag inisipi mo yun ang dami mo ng makukuhang emotions from that so I guess that’s how I did it,” she shared.
