Kakai Bautista opened up about her experience being bullied while growing up. In an interview with ABS-CBN Lifestyle, the comedian revealed the hurtful comments she heard and endured over the years.
Ganoon. Naranasan ko ‘yun face to face ha at ipapahiya ka kasi di ka magaling sa ganitong bagay,” Kakai said.
She relayed that there was a time when she cried in the comfort room because she was bullied hard.
Ano masaya kayo? Hindi ko ipapakita sa inyo,” Kakai stated.
The comedian confessed that there were many times that she became emotional because of the bashers online too. But soon she realized that they do not deserve her attention and energy.
They don’t know. They just see you and judge you but they don’t know you,” she remarked.
Amid the bullying she experienced while growing up, Kakai learned to embrace herself.
