Liza Soberano checked an item off her bucket list recently after she finally saw K-Pop group BTS live in concert. The actress traveled alone to Seoul, South Korea to see the show.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH at the ABS-CBN Christmas Trade Party, Liza shared that she became emotional when she saw BTS live.
"[I was] emotional because when I was in the States pa lang getting surgery, I was supposed to watched in Wembley, their concert in London. I got tickets and tickets for the flight and everything pero hindi ako natuloy because I had surgery. So ang nangyari I was watching on V Live, the live show and I was crying. So when I got there I was crying because naalala ko lahat nang iniyak ko nong nasa States ko," Liza said.
Some of my favorite moments from LY: Speak Yourself the finale 💜💜💜 This trip and experience has given me a deeper meaning and appreciation to what “fan girling” is. While waiting in line for many hours out in the cold with nothing to eat and no where to sit I started thinking about my fans and what they have to go through just to get a glimpse of me. Words can never express how grateful I am to each and everyone of you. I’m proud to be a fan of such talented people and I’m proud to have fans who are the most loving and understanding people i’ve ever met. I’ve got the best of both worlds 💜
It was also the first time for Liza to travel abroad alone. She admitted that it was challenging but she learned a lot from the experience.
"I feel like it allows people to grow. I'm actually happy that [Enrique] allowed me kasi at first he did not allow me to go alone, of course he was concerned, and he was worried about me but I think it was a very good learning experience for me. It was very fun," the actress stated.
