Gab Valenciano gets hospitalized, encourages support for mentally ill people

Alive to fight another day, alive in every single way," he added.</p><p>In a recent interview with CNN Philippines, Gab revealed that he has been living with bipolar disorder, a mental condition that causes dramatic mood shifts, and clinical depression for more than a year now.</p><p>"I isolated myself and kept it all in until one day it just exploded," said Gab, who revealed that he had suicidal thoughts just in January this year. "And so that is why I am very open about it now because I do not want anybody to have to go through that."</p>

"And so that is why I am very open about it now because I do not want anybody to have to go through that."
