After joining other celebrities in launching the Hope in a Star advocacy campaign, Pia Wurtzbach said she has been busy completing the decorating of her new home which she just moved into earlier this year. “I moved out from my parents when I was 17 so I’ve been pretty much alone for my whole adult life. But ito yung first home ko na akin talaga where I can say that this is my ceiling, this is my floor, these are my walls. And whatever hole I dig there is okay, alam mo yun? What I love about it is I get to personalize it and really show more of my personality with the interiors and whatever the design that I chose and it’s a nice feeling to know na wow, dito napunta yung napaghirapan ko!” she told PUSH.
Pia said her taste in furnishings is not what is expected of a former Miss Universe. “It’s very quirky. People are going to be surprised. I feel like people think that it’s going to be puti lahat, may chandelier, makinang, ganyan. I have actually have a masculine taste in furniture. Also, another thing is it’s bright because the light always affects me and my moods so importante sa akin na maliwanag,” she explained.
Apart from her spacious bedroom, Pia said she allotted space in her new home just for getting herself ready for events like showbiz commitments. “My favorite area is the makeup room. I have a room just for getting ready (laughs). So the guest room I changed into that because I spend a lot of time getting ready, doing my makeup, doing fittings and what not and I used to do that in the living room but now I have a room just for that,” she explained.
