With the feud between the Barretto sisters still the top trending showbiz topic in the country today, celebrities like Judy Ann Santos have been careful with weighing in on the issue. “I’m friends with Clau and Gretchen. I just think that it’s a very, very sensitive thing because it’s family and it’s very private and personal. The more we give opinions on what happened, the more that it just creates more tension. Para kang may pinanigan,” she told PUSH during her Coco Mama media launch event held last October 23 in Taguig.
The Starla actress said she can relate to how it feels to have to deal with challenging family issues. “Wala namang may alam ng kahit sino sa atin kung ano talaga yung totoo and sa akin lang, wala tayong karapatan humusga bilang mga tao kasi kanya-kanyang problema yan. And it’s a very private matter and sa akin lang, ayoko makadagdag sa kung ano man yung nanagyayari sa ngayon kasi as it is, I know how hard and difficult it is to have this kind of problem and this kind of issue and at the same time, magnified pa times ten because of social media,” she explained.
The new Coco Mama celebrity ambassador also wished nothing but positive outcome for the Barrettos. “I just pray for peace of mind muna for all of them, to everyone to de-stress form things especially kay Mommy Inday para medyo makalma kalma muna siya with all that’s been happening. Sana at some point, maging maayos din naman. Lahat naman may katapusan. Yun naman yung paniniwala ko. Kung ano man ang mangyayari, mabuti man or maganda, lahat naman yan may katapusan. I just hope, at the end of the day, they are all family. Hindi naman maipagkakaila yun. May mga nag-su-surface naman talaga na problema. Baka may mga mas matindi pa na mga pinagdadaanan ibang pamilya pero hindi lang napapag-usapan kasi hindi naman sila artista or probably politicians or famous people. It’s just sad na nagbigay na yung mga tao ng kanya-kanyang opinion so mas lalong nag-create ng tension,” she said.
