Bb. Pilipinas Grand International Samantha Ashley Lo was reportedly deported by French authorities after being held for 13 hours in Paris for carrying a fake passport, sources claimed on Thursday.
The Cebuana beauty queen was on her way to Venezuela to represent the Philippines at the Miss Grand International pageant when she was held at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France, reported Manila Bulletin.

According to sources who requested anonymity, French authorities detained Samantha after discovering that the passport she was carrying was issued to a man.
"When Lo came back to Manila, she appeared shock. She only talked to her parents,” continued the source.
Reports state that Samantha, with the help of her parents and representatives from the Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI), has already met with government officials to discuss the problem.
An official statement from BPCI regarding the issue has yet to be released.
This would explain Samantha's absence at the pre-pageant activities for the Miss Grand International 2019 in Venezuela that earlier raised questions among her fans.
Samantha, too, has yet to answer the rumors herself, including whether she will push through with the pageant or not. The grand coronation of the Miss Grand International 2019 will be held on October 25.
