Three of ABS-CBN’s most acclaimed television series have taken on the spotlight at the prestigious International Market of Communications Programmes, or MIPCOM, in Cannes, France this week.
The Killer Bride, Kadenang Ginto, and Sino Ang May Sala?: Mea Culpa were chosen to screen at the annual trade show, which involves media and entertain industry professionals from around the world, to further position the Kapamilya network’s world-class programming to shine in the international stage.
According to ABS-CBN executives, these top-rating dramas have all captured the imagination of local viewers, with its episodes reaching top trending topic status worldwide.
“These top three titles we are presenting continuously dominate trending topics on social media, especially The Killer Bride, which ranked first on the worldwide [trending] list,” said Macie F. Imperial, ABS-CBN division head and VP of integrated acquisitions and international sales and distribution, in a statement.
“Our narratives present unique storylines and interesting characters that international viewers will get hooked on,” she added.
The 2019 MIPCOM kicked off on Monday, October 14, and will run until Friday, October 18.
