Director Joey Reyes joins Cinemalaya Executive Committee, replacing Mel Chionglo

Opisyal nang bahagi ng Cinemalaya Executive Committee ang premyadong director at award-winning scriptwriter na si Jose Javier Reyes (Joey Reyes). Si Direk Joey will function as the new Competition Director and Monitoring Head of the Cinemalaya festival.Just recently, winelcome si Reyes ng Cinemalaya Foundation na binubuo nina Tony Boy Cojuangco (Cinemalaya Foundation Chairman), Laurice Guillen (Cinemalaya Foundation President), Chris Millado (Festival Director and CCP Vice President), and Teresa Rances (Deputy Festival Director).Si Direk Joey ang papalit sa naiwang posisyon ng yumang direkto na si Mel Chionglo—Cinemalaya Competition Director and Monitoring Head—na isang a very important role in supervising the films in competition all year round.Sa mga nakaraang taon, Direk Joey has consistently been a part of the Cinemalaya family bilang miyembro ng Selection Committee.
