Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas made her Instagram followers laugh with a spoof of JLo’s magazine cover.
One of Jennifer Lopez’s iconic looks to date was her shocking magazine cover for Instyle Magazine as the glossy’s muse for their special December issue, in which she showed off some skin and her killer curves in an emerald green Valentino Haute Couture gown.
The feature was an ode to the seasoned pop star’s historical fashion moment back in 2000 during the prestigious Grammy Awards, during which she stole the spotlight in a sheer, plunging Versace dress, which likewise revealed her fit bod.
This is what inspired comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas to give joy to her fans first thing in the year after spoofing the provocative cover last Friday, with an edited photo of herself as “The Real JLongganisa”.
“Magandang umaga! Ready na ba kayo sa pasobog? Hehehe. Dati nag promise ako na gagayahin ko to. Eto na sya. Pa boom sa 2019,” read an excerpt of her caption along with the hashtags #pagoodvibeslang and #ayokomagpatalokayjlo, among others.
It is to be recalled that this wasn’t the first time that the celebrity mom spoofed a Hollywood act. In 2014, Ai-Ai referenced the international hit “Bang Bang” in her music video of “Nandito Lang Ako,” complete with characters to portray singers Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj.
Coincidentally, the seasoned actress cited J.Lo as her inspiration for her album “The EDM Diva” – in which “Nandito Lang Ako” and seven other tracks are included – as a whole.
"Feeling J. Lo talaga ako dahil bago 'yung tunog ng mga kanta sa album ko. Ma-appreciate siya kahit ng mga teenager. Hindi ko naman hinahangad na maging ka-level ko si Psy (K-pop superstar) sa kasikatan, pero matagal ko nang gusto magka-album na maraming magkakagusto at talagang bibilhin,” said Ai-Ai in a previous interview.
