Angel Jones took to social media to write a message amid the allegations thrown at her son Tony Labrusca who received online backlash recently after being embroiled in an incident at the country’s main airport. In a lengthy Instagram post, Angel expressed her frustration over people who spread gossip and who like to spew hatred on others.

“You can tell a lot about a person’s character based on the gossip they spread and the gossip they choose to believe. It’s so incredibly sad to see people so unhappy with their own lives that they love to hate on others that do well. When fake news gets treated like real news and the same people that want your attention will quickly hurt you when they don’t get the attention they demand. Ignored during the grind but everyone wants to love you on the come up. Others will try to make a name for themselves at another’s expense and pain,” Angel wrote.

She concluded her statement by saying that she would never adhere to such “toxic” societal standard and rather chooses love. “It’s a disgusting way to be but it exists and it’s completely acceptable in our society. What a world we live in today!. I don’t accept it and refuse to live by such toxic standards. The love you put into the world will always finds its way back to you. Love and Namaste to all,” she said.

Meanwhile, her son Tony has already issued an apology regarding the reported incident at the airport. But the actor clarified that he never disrespected any immigration officer that time. “It was very upsetting for me. And I’m sorry that I somehow took my frustrations out on the Officer. But never did I ever call anyone stupid, nor an idiot much less brag about being a celebrity,” Tony said via Twitter.
