Tony Labrusca made headlines after getting in an argument because of his Philippine visa.
Glorious star Tony Labrusca recently went viral on social media after getting ‘frustrated’ over getting a 30-day visa when he arrived in Manila.
Tony, who is an American citizen, traveled alone so he was only granted a month stay in the country.
After getting buzz online because of his reported rude behavior, Tony released an official statement where he apologized to the immigration officer he talked to during his arrival. He also clarified that he did not call someone “stupid” or “idiot.” Tony also stressed that he did not brag about being a celebrity.
“I was unaware of the policy that because I was not with my mother, I did not qualify for a Balikbayan stamp,” he wrote.
“It was very upsetting for me. And I’m sorry that I somehow took my frustrations out on the Officer. But never did I ever call anyone stupid, nor an idiot much less brag about being a celebrity,” he added.
He then said that his emotions just got the best of him that time and despite coming from a long haul flight, this was not an excuse for the way he behaved.
