Vice Ganda added another feather to his cap after his recent Metro Manila Film Festival entry Fantastica became his highest grossing film. Star Cinema announced at the thanksgiving party of the film on Tuesday, January 29, that the movie earned Php 596 million as of yesterday. The comedian beat his previous box-office record of Php 571 million for the film Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.

In his speech during the event, Vice extended his gratitude to the cast and crew for being part of the movie’s success. He also thanked the ABS-CBN executives for the massive support he received from them.

He also highlighted the contribution of comedians Chokoleit, MC, Lassy and Juliana to the success of the film. He shared that the comedians were already involved from the very beginning, back when they were still conceptualizing the movie. "I cannot imagine doing any film without you. Maraming salamat sa inyo," he told them.

Vice also went on thanking the love teams who became part of the movie. Pakisabi sa fans clubs ninyo maraming maraming salamat sa inyo,” he said. DonKiss (Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin), MayWard (Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber), and LoiNnie (Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio) were the love teams in the movie.
