Lea Salonga cancels two shows due to her recent accident in Japan.
Grammy-nominee and Broadway singer Lea Salonga announced the cancellation of two of her shows on her concert tour due to her leg injury. Her Hong Kong show, Lea Salonga: The Voice of Broadway, and Singapore show, Lea Salonga: The Human Heart, will both be rescheduled on a later date.
In a series of Instagram stories she posted, Lea explained, "It's with a very heavy heart that I'm going to have to cancel my Hong Kong and Singapore stops on the tour. As many of you know, I was in Japan recently for a family vacation, and I fell and broke my leg.”
Last January 16, Lea shared on her Instagram account that she injured her leg during their ski trip in Japan.

According to the The Voice PH Coach, she was advised by her doctor that it will take some time to heal her broken leg. “I’ve just been seen by my doctors and they are saying that the recovery time for this is going to be pretty long and I’m not going to be allowed to travel for the next few months.
"But we're working now on rescheduling the dates and I'm going to work on just healing out, and getting back into fighting form. Once we have all those dates, we will give you updates on here and on LeaSalonga.com," Lea assured.
Skipping the two shows, Lea Salonga will be returning on February 26 in Manchester Bridgewater Hall for her solo UK tour.
