Filipina-American young singer Angelica Hale once again made waves on the America's Got Talent stage after she returned to the show for the TV show's spin-off titled AGT The Champions. Angelica performed Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song," which earned her a standing ovation.
She also made history after she was given again the "golden buzzer" just like when she first joined the competition in 2017. She was the only contestant in the history of AGT to receive the coveted "golden buzzer" twice, which means she is going straight to the finals again.
"When people show up on this show, the level of competition is much higher. Just by the title, you are amongst champions. You show up and you ripped the ceiling off this theater. That was your fight song and if I can do anything, I am going to help you win this fight,” judge Howie Mandel said before giving the golden buzzer.
“I can’t believe this is actually happening to me. I never expected this to happen. I wanted to thank you so much. This is a dream come true," Angelica stated.
