Moira Dela Torre fights back against body-shaming.
Singer Moira Dela Torre took to Twitter clap back at a person who called her names, body-shaming her while performing at the year-end celebration of Marikina City last December 29.
"To the rude kuya shouting ‘ang taba mo, laki mo Moira. Panget, taba,’ while I was performing last night. I was so tempted to look at you and give you a piece of my mind. But I didn't want anyone feeling how you made me feel. Even you," she wrote.
Overwhelmed by the support of her fans who rallied behind her, she said in a separate tweet: "Wow everyone. Thank you."
In an exclusive interview with PUSH last December, Moira Dela Torre revealed that she's currently on a water diet as part of her preparations for her upcoming wedding.
"Now I am trying to do a cleanse. And I’m trying to exercise. I think it’s not really to lose weight but more so to be able to stand at the aisle and look at my future husband saying here’s your healthy wife because you deserve a healthy wife. And I think it’s also my jumpstart to marriage and all of that," she said.
Moira Dela Torre performed at a New Year's Eve celebration of a mall in Quezon City where she became emotional after announcing to the crowd that it was her last performance before she ties the knot with her fiancé Jason Marvin Hernandez later this month.
