Kris Aquino: 'I am ready to face whatever charges and vigorously defend myself in the court of law.'
Following Nicko Falcis’s allegations that Kris Aquino threatened him and a recorded phone call allegedly between them which has gone viral, Kris took to Instagram to raise the question as to why her ex-managing director has not yet filed a case against her.
"I will state the date September 27, 2018. It is now January 15, 2019. 2 very straightforward questions - Why hasn’t Nicko Falcis filed a case of grave threats against me with any prosecutor in October, November, December 2018, or this 1st half of January 2019? 110 days have passed. I am ready to face whatever charges and vigorously defend myself in the court of law," Kris posted.
The host-actress also brought up the question about the trust fund of her son. "Bakit hanggang ngayon ayaw sagutin kung nasaan ang ₱40 million investment na galing sa trust fund ng mga anak ko?" Kris posted.
The said Instagram post has already been deleted.
Kris also took to social media recently to issue a statement regarding Nicko's recent tell-all interview wherein he claimed that Kris still has emotional baggage regarding her separation from her former network ABS-CBN.
Kris urged Nicko not to involve ABS-CBN in their issue. "I stated, for my sons & the memory of my parents, I can humble myself. In this instance 'wag idamay ang ABS-CBN. 'Wag ilihis ang issue.'"
She also said sorry to ABS-CBN management for being dragged into their battle. "From my heart, to Chairman Mark Lopez (most especially his parents) and President/CEO Carlo Katigbak - I apologize nadamay kayo sa gulo. You deserve for me to stand up and give you the high esteem you rightfully deserve," Kris said.
