Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago refused to let a troll get away with speaking ill of her on Instagram recently.
The beauty queen, who back in August revealed that she suffers from a chronic kidney disease, called out the said netizen after being told in a comment that her illness is a result of bad karma.
“Ikaw ang pangit mo Bea! Filter queen! Karma na ‘yang nangyayari sa ‘yo! Baka hindi ka na umabot ng 2020! Bihira lang ang gumagaling sa sakit na ‘yan! RIP in advance!,” the comment read.
Bea, however, knew better than to reciprocate the hate.
“I hope you live a life full of love to cure that deadly disease of hate. That’s worse than any organ failure or cancer. I will never wish any of my bashers of haters to go through what I’m going through.”
“God bless you and your family! I hope He who is God of all can cure your hate with love,” she answered.
The netizen has since deleted the comment – along with her account – but not without Bea first taking a screenshot for receipt.
“I do not tolerate hate. It’s 2019, I promised to God, my family, and to myself [that] I will never let hate win,” she said.
Will only talk about it once. I do not tolerate hate. Will never wish bad shit to any bashers, trolls, haters, killers, rapists, drug addicts, drug pushers, corrupt men and women, dead beat dads, abusers. Its 2019, I promised to God, my family and to myself I will NEVER LET HATE WIN. The cure for any hatred is LOVE. #NoHate #trolls #Philippines
