“Dito nagpapatunay kahit hindi magkadugo magkakaisa para sa pananampalataya,” says Hashtags member McCoy de Leon, who revealed that he went to the feast all by himself.
A firm believer of the Catholic faith, it has already become a tradition for McCoy de Leon to join the annual feast of the Itim Na Poong Nazareno, or Traslacion, every year.
Earlier this Thursday, the Hashtags member shared the aftermath of the successful 2019 procession he participated in last Wednesday, during which he had to battle his way against 800,000 fellow devotees just to get close to the famed Black Nazarene.
Sharing a snap of his feet covered in dirt, McCoy – who started his devotion through his father, Mark de Leon – wrote, “Dalawang beses akong nahulog habang umaakyat sa Poon.
What’s surprising is that the Sakaling Maging Tayo leading man went to the feast on his own this year.
