Months after The Cranberries vocalist Dolores O'Riordan left her fans and friends in the music industry in grief following her sudden death, a coroner ruled the frontwoman of the Irish rock band's passing as drowning due to alcohol intoxication, media reports said.

It was back in January when the vocalist of the band behind hits "Zombie" and "Linger" was found sunk in a bathtub of a hotel in London, England.

Meanwhile, The Cranberries released a press statement on their official Instagram account, requesting "for our privacy to be respected at this time."
