Lauren Young feels concerned for not only those lining up but also to those working there.
Lauren Young took to Twitter to share her recent experience when she went to the Department of Foreign Affairs to have a document processed, calling it a form of "exorcism."
"Processing for documents in the Philippines makes me want to pull my hair out, scream, and have my eyes roll back. Basically an exorcism," she wrote.
Venting out her frustration as to how the system works, Lauren particularly felt disappointed after one of the people working at the DFA asked her to move to the next window only to get the same response after lining up for three hours.
"Guy in window 1 told me I have to get a document but should verify with window 2 if it’s necessary or if there's something they can do for me. Waited in line for 3 hours to get to window 2 only to be told the exact same thing. Salamat! #DFAHorrorStories," the 24-year-old actress wrote in another tweet.
Lauren also hoped for positive changes for the system as she couldn't help but feel concerned for everyone involved, writing: "2 windows accommodating 100 people in the queue. I felt so bad for the people waiting and for the people working there. Right now the question isn’t ‘what can WE do?’ But more of ‘what should THEY do?’”
“Can I have my taxes back? Lololol jk” 🏻♀️ #DFAHorrorStories," she jokingly added.
